WTF? Every time I try to go to TK, google chrome stops me from proceeding, saying its found malicious software and that the site may have been hacked. Woah. Anyone else experiencing this?

My bio helped a bride today! She saw the same STD tutorial as I had, and thought it was ridiculous how much it was going to cost her...until she found this bio! Hers will probably end up being cheaper than 67 cents each since she's making more than I did. I saved her time and money and gosh darn it, I'm proud of myself. That's the main reason I started this website, to help other broke and frustrated DIY brides.

Went shopping at David's Bridal today and tried this one on 5th. Loved it the second I put it on.

It has everything I was looking for! Pick-ups, check. Sparkles, check. Unique design, check. I went in looking for a ballgown, but couldn't help but love this one better than any of the ballgowns I tried on.

When I came home, I was fretting about how to afford this gown plus the alterations I need.

Then, I got on ebay and GUESS WHAT I FIND??!! THE DRESS!!!!! Only one size too big. For how much? $150!!!! Even with alterations, it will still be cheaper than retail!

WOO! I Know my wedding is a year away and I shouldn't be buying the dress already, but I only have the small 4 month window between semesters to book, buy, plan, and DIY.

So they're done! Want the tutorial? Go to DIY --> Stationary --> Save-the-dates.

I was supposed to have them done two days ago but couldn't muster up the energy to go to Momma and Poppa Margarita's house to use their printer........

Dress shopping tomorrow!! Yesssss!!!

So, I've been looking at pictures of centerpieces for about 6 months now. It was one of the first things I started researching, even before I started looking at gowns. One week, I'm like "Oh! I can totally do this manzanita branch arrangement with roses attached to the branches!" and the next week, I ditch that idea and start planning for "Oh! Gerbera daisy pomanders!"

I have been able to sit down and make decisions on absolutely every aspect of the wedding thus far...except for the centerpieces. I cannot make a decision on those. Well, I CAN; I just keep changing it.
Now, I know I've got it. I was browsing through 1-800-flowers.com, looking for inspiration and voila! It appeared!

It fits my colors, I can include the butterfly picks my mom spent too much money on, and I can easily keep it within my $100 budget! I'm certainly going to ditch the green bucket...probably use a fishbowl-type vase...with some tulle ribbon...and black river rocks...? Maybe.

I'm going to draw up a sample using Dollar Tree flowers sometime soon. Will be posting in DIY section.

Oh and I'm very close to being done with the save-the-dates. I'm going grocery shopping after work and then cracking down on  them. If they're not finished tonight, they certainly will be by tomorrow afternoon. And that, my friends

So I'm starting up my planning bio...and I began my first DIY project today: the save-the-dates...got pretty far but my hand started cramping and then it dawned on me that I needed a planning bio for those ladies that like my projects and want tutorials....so that's what I've been doing for the past 5 hours....and it is now 2 o'clock in the morning. I'm going cross-eyed. Going to bed. Start fresh tomorrow. Hopefully the thunder won't wake me up in the morning.
