BM Hair Flowers
I made these for FREE! I had the satin leftover from my invites, and the tulle leftover from the veil that I ended up trashing. These are also under Gifts, since I'm cheating and calling these gifts.
Got the tutorial from here.

BM Purses
I just need to add a chain, and it's complete!
Once upon a time, I was watching Four Weddings. The episode was "...And a Love Hike." One of the brides, the one that had the love hike, has the most incredible purse made out of hot pink ribbon roses. I HAD to have it for my ladies. What a perfect gift! A fashionable purse, filled with emergency wedding-day items. After an extensive google search, I found this. At $350, I said psshh! I can make that!
I made the ribbon roses via this tutorial. I needed 13 for each purse (only doing one side). I made the purse via this tutorial. I made the purse first, then hot glued the roses onto the front. I also added magnetic clasps to the top strips.
Cost Breakdown (everything 50% off):
Total: $14.50 or $7.25 each

Beaded Sashes
So my ladies fell in love with a gorgeous Bill Levkoff dress. It had a sweetheart neckline, ruching, and a beautiful beaded belt. It made both of my ladies look stunning. When it was time to order, we discovered that Bill Levkoff does not believe in bright colors. His version of Watermelon was more along the lines of muave. Not gonna happen. So we settled for an Alexia design, which comes in the right color, but isn't quite as flattering.
How to resolve this dilemma? Make beaded sashes to add to the dresses!
I used this tutorial to achieve the look. I swapped the pearls for sequins, though.
Materials & Cost:
1 bag (18 grams) silver lined seed beads - $1.50 (1/2 off hobby lobby)
160x 4mm AB crystal bicone beads - $1.69 (ebay)
2x Aleene's Glitter & Gem glue - $3.50 (1/2 off hobby lobby)
A handful of rhinestones I have leftover
A handful of sequins I have leftover
Some hot pink fabric I have leftover

RB "Pillows"
Ok...So they're not 100% DIY. I didn't make the flowers. I bought them on clearance at JoAnn's. But I DID hot glue a ribbon to the center (to tie the ring on) and all the rhinestones to the petals. Later on I'll hot glue an elastic band to the bottom that the girls can hold on to. Once I find some elastic in my sewing box....may take a while.
If you absolutely must have these and can't find a similar flower thingy, the petals appear to be made from tissue paper wrapped over some thick wire, then attached to a paper mache center. If you go this route, I would recommend using pliers to bend the wire.
Cost breakdown:
Total: $19.33 or $9.67 each
Did I go a little overbudget? Yeah.
Are they worth it? ABSOLUTELY.

Something like this, I guess
...are on the back burner. Because it's too damn easy.
I've got two butterfly nets. I plan to wrap ribbon around the handle, and hot glue some Dollar Tree flowers to it. And maybe throw a few rhinestones on there, for good measure. Voila. It's DIY!
